The conference began with the 2017 report titled "Deflating Inflation Expectations: The Implications of Inflation's Simple Dynamics," by Stephen Cecchetti (Brandeis), Michael Feroli (J. P. Morgan), Peter Hooper (Deutsche Bank), Anil Kashyap (University of Chicago), and Kim Schoenholtz (NYU Stern).
